      Latitude 33° 35.77S
      Longitude 151° 15.33E

Red and white round bouy with ASC painted on it and the number 77K01

As you approach Refuge Bay you will see America Bay off your Port Beam and in an easterly direction. Head in close to southern side of the Bay and keep moving east. The mooring is approximately opposite a small inlet that is popular a popular anchorage and mooring position. This mooring is protected from northerly and southerly winds but can be affected by strong winds from the east which tend to funnel through the Bay.

In the right conditions America Bay is a lovely spot to spend a night or two, there is a water fall at the end of the Bay which, when running, is a great way to have that al fresco shower. Try going ashore and get some top photos of your yacht from a high vantage point.
